I live in a 1965 split-level townhouse with two flat roofs. In mid-July of 2023, I reached out to my homeowner's insurance regarding a persistent water leak in my crawl space, and was referred to the preferred contractor local franchise of a national restoration company. Six months later, it had failed to identify and address the root cause, allowing the damage to get worse, and was about to winterize my house in the middle of January, i.e. force my family to vacate it, under the pretext of addressing a mold concern that they had not bothered testing for over those six months.I then contacted the National Roof Certification & Inspection Association, who referred me to Scott Biller. Scott proved to be a godsend. He recommended a roofer who corrected areas that a previous roofer had overlooked, identified the cause of the leak as failed couplings in the vertical drain pipe inside the house, provided mold testing, met with the adjuster, coordinated and personally oversaw on a daily basis the complex overlap of the contractors performing the mold remediation, drain line replacement and rebuild, as well as several improvements I had requested. It took Scott three weeks to materialize what the insurance's preferred contractor had failed to achieve in six months, all the while keeping cost under control.In addition, I retained Scott as my owner representative. As such, he consistently, skillfully and very patiently handled all communications with my insurance provider. I could not have hoped for a better outcome.Last but not least, throughout this trying experience, Scott provided moral support and good cheer, and his positive outlook made a world of difference for me. I could not be more grateful.

We hired Scott to conduct a pre-drywall inspection on our new build home. He spent three hours thoroughly assessing the home, and provided a very detailed report that night with very helpful findings. He was professional, friendly, and communicative with our builder and us. I will be hiring him again for our final move-in inspection. From booking to receiving the inspection report, everything was flawless. Scott performed an exterior inspection primarily focused on our roof (which is why we called him), but he flagged a few other items we should give attention at the same time. His review was informative and focused on the things we needed to do by level of severity. He also helped identify the likely source of our occasional roof leak, as well as other areas that need attention, which is helpful as we are now getting estimates from roofers. I would highly recommend and hire Scott again for inspections in the future.

I was concerned about the safety of our deck. I found Biller & Associates through Google and scheduled a deck safety inspection. The next day Scott showed up in the rain and performed the inspection. His level of professionalism and expertise were very apparent. He was able to answer all of my questions and explain technical information I was unfamiliar with so I could understand.I recieved his report the next day. It was very detailed with a description of the fault, pictures of the fault, and a safety rating of the fault.
