SCOTT BILLER
Biller & Associates evolved from an entrepreneurial spirit and knowledge gained from completing an MBA program over 25 years ago. Scott worked at Freddie Mac for 19 years, then transitioned into Program Management leadership and consulting after obtaining the Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification and completing the Advanced Project Management Program at Stanford University. Scott later completed the Executive Leadership & Management Program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. During his corporate career timeframe, Scott also continued to follow his passion for architectural design and custom millwork. This interest led him to a trim carpenter position at Woodlea Mill Estates, an exclusive custom housing enclave in McLean, VA, thus solidifying the start of Biller & Associates.
Scott’s motivation and ability to manage two demanding careers and a young family was the driving force behind his commitment to excellence and continuous professional growth. As a result, Scott obtained a Class B General Contractor license and led the day to day operations of Biller & Associates, a design/build contractor specializing in custom renovations to include, kitchens, bathrooms, basements, and outdoor living spaces. After balancing dual careers for 25 years, Scott decided that it was time to focus on the expansion of Biller & Associates by integrating lessons learned from both the corporate and private sectors. This unique combination of skills, background, and expertise has provided Scott with a solid foundation to be a Residential/Commercial Inspector, Expert Consultant for New Construction, and Association Board of Director.

Led the transformation of Biller & Associates from a design/build firm to a full service Residential and Commercial Inspection and New Construction Expert Consulting entity.
Completed the New Residential Structure (NRS) Certification training to obtain the Commonwealth of Virginia specialty designation NRS. This designation provides the authorization to perform new home pre-drywall and final walk-thru inspections.
Completed the National Radon Proficiency Program training and passed the national exam to achieve the Residential Radon Measurement Provider certification.
Completed the Monroe Infrared Technology training and passed the exam to become a Certified Residential Thermographer.
Completed the Mold Inspection Institute training and passed the exam to become a Certified Residential Mold Inspector.
Completed the North American Deck and Railing Association training and passed the exam to become Certified in Deck Evaluation/Inspection.
Completed the Virginia Pest Management Association training and passed the exam for the Wood Destroying Insect Certification Program.
Completed the National Roof Certification and Inspection Association training and passed the exam to become a Certified Roof Inspector.

Managed a portfolio of residential remodeling projects inclusive of facilitating customer design sessions, estimating materials and labor, planning delivery timelines, coordinating with sub-contractors, procuring materials and fixtures, and managing the accounting and tax reporting.
